Introduction

Dossy.co Pty Ltd provides tablet devices set up specifically for using the Dossy Platform. By agreeing to these terms during the order process on our website, you are entering into a binding agreement with us. You agree with yourself and other users, such as loved ones, employees, and clients. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not proceed.

Account Management

  • Setup and Maintenance: When you create a Dossy account, you can choose a social support plan that meets your needs. You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and accurate.

  • Ordering Devices and Data Plans: You can order devices and data plans directly from the Dossy website.

Device Usage

  • Ownership and Care: Phonecycle Pty Ltd owns all devices. They are refurbished to remain sustainable and accessible. You are expected to take good care of the devices.

  • Defective Devices: If your device stops working, let us know. We will replace it and cover the shipping costs.

Services Provided

  • Device Set Up: Your device will arrive with the Dossy user’s unique code installed. You can plug it in to start using it.

  • Delivery: We deliver the device to the address you provide when ordering.

  • Platform Access: The device will only run the Dossy Platform and is locked to this single app to keep things simple.

  • 4G Data Sims: We will install a Telstra 4G or Optus 4G unlimited data sim into your device, which will be activated before delivery.

  • Support: We provide remote support to ensure your device and the Dossy app are always up to date. Help desk and account management services are also available if you require support with the settings to access the accessibility features, e.g., hearing, vision or physical and motor settings.

Device Term

  • No lock-in contract: There is no upfront fee, and you can cancel anytime, effective at the end of the current month.

  • Cancellation: If you cancel, return the device within 30 days to avoid fees. If the device isn’t returned within this time, we'll charge a device lost fee equal to the remaining monthly fees that would apply if you paid for a 24-month period per device.

Fees and Payments

  • Charges: All fees are listed on our website and can change. We will inform you of any changes through our website or other communication.

  • Payment Terms: Payments can be made monthly via credit card on our website or by invoice for enterprise accounts.

Legal

  • Liability: Dossy is not liable for losses or damages incurred using the devices, except as Australian Consumer Law requires. We do not guarantee continuous or fault-free service. If a device or service fault we can't promptly fix occurs, we will either resupply the device or service or refund the service fees for the period of unavailability.

  • Indemnity: You cover Dossy against any claims from your users, except where the law requires us to be liable and prevents us recovering from you.

Privacy

  • Management of Personal Information: We handle personal information according to privacy laws and require our contractors to do the same. By providing personal information as described in the Dossy Privacy Policy, you consent to its use.

  • Credit Information: We may check your credit details if your payment fails.

  • Security Measures: We use Stripe's tokenisation to protect your card details and encrypt data from when it is collected until Stripe processes it.

General

  • Termination: We may terminate or suspend your access due to security risks, misuse, a breach of our User Behaviour Policy, or non-payment.

  • Changes: We can change the product or platform features without prior notice.

  • Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

By accepting these terms, you confirm that you have read and understood them, including the User Behaviour Policy and Privacy Policy.
